St John's College in Anchal, Kerala, has an active placement cell that helps students secure employment opportunities and internships. The placement cell organizes various activities such as campus recruitment drives, career counseling sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance students' employability skills. They collaborate with different companies and industries to provide students with a platform to start their professional careers.
Over the years, several of its students have been placed in institutions like Apollo International Group of Educational Institutions, Ahmedabad. Popular indutsrial firms like TIME Group, Tata Consulatancy Services, Reliance Company, Axis Bank and the like have conducted online and offline interviews for the alumni of the college. TALROP, which is an initiative of STEYP, has been conducting online courses for the enriching the potential of our students to be recruited under campus placement. Vijayaveedhi PSC Group, Punalur conducted online PSC sessions for the undergraduate students of the college.
The KKEM (Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission) has selected Career Ambassadors in the college, and a Coordinator for the Connect Career to Campus programme. Three day Orientation sessions have also been organised in the campus. The Career Guidance Cell of the University of Kerala has conducted Career Orientation Programmes.
There are WhatsApp Groups for students as well as the alumni of our college, to pass on information about Career opportunites.

Activities
Connect Career to Campus (CCC) Campaign
Kerala Knowledge Economy mission and Placement Cell of our college organized a "Career Campaign" from 20 to 22 February 2023. Thirty students attended the programme which found to be more effective for them. Ms Mothy Pratap, ASAP Trainer took the orientation session.

Placement Readiness Programme- I
Placement Cell, University of Kerala in association with St John's College organizes an Orientation Training on "Placement Readiness" on 27 January 2023 in the Audio Visual Hall from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Dr Amala Anie John, CEO, FEMS GSKool was the resource person for the programme.
Campus Recruitment Drive
SJC Placement Cell in association with The Apollo Group of Educational Institutions, Ahmedabad organized a one day Placement Drive for the students of our college in the Audio Visual Hall on 24 March 2022. Mr. Rajesh Rajah, Principal, Apollo International School, Tragad and Mrs. Moly Joseph, Felicator, Apollo Group of Educational Institutions were the resource persons.
Five of our students were selected in the process after screening and online interviews.
Confidence Building Session for Career Prospects
The Gillete Guard Company in collaboration with Malayala Manorama and SJC Placement Cell organised a Confidence Building session for Career Prospects for the Undergraduate students of the College in the Mar Gregorios Auditorium on 03 February 2020, followed by individual sessions in the final year classrooms. Mr. Rajesh Mohan and Mr. Ajeesh Das of the Gillete Guard Company were the resource persons.

TIME, Kollam and SJC Placement Cell of our college organized a One day Career Guidance Seminar on "What After Graduation?" on 18 November 2019 in the Audio Visual Hall.
Career Development Session
A virtual Career Development Session "What after Graduation?" by TIME , Kollam in asociation with SJC Placement Cell on 13 October 2020. Mr Mithun, Trainer, TIME, Kollam talked about various career opportunities available after graduation.
PSC Coaching Orientation
Placement Cell of our college in association with Vijayaveedhi PSC Coaching Centre, Punalur conducted an Orientation on PSC Coaching on 24 January 2019. Mr Vimal S from Vijayaveedhi PSC Coaching Centre, Punalur took out the time to visit all second and final year undergraduate students to orient them on the importance of preparation for a Government job.
